US-North Korea:Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un in emblematic DMZ meeting

In the wake of posturing for handshakes, donald Trump met the North Korea leader for over an hour in the vigorously fortified demilitarised zone  (DMZ).

International News Headline: The two men consented to set up groups to resume slowed down atomic talks. Their last summit separated in February with no advancement on denuclearisation in North Korea. 

In their third vis-à-vis experience in a little more than a year, the two chiefs met at the strained region that has partitioned the promontory since threats in the Korea War finished in 1953. 

Various past US presidents have visited the peace negotiation line, to a great extent in a show of US support for the South. Yet, Mr Trump changed the optics of the visit, shunning binoculars and an aircraft coat for a tailored suit.

Calling their fellowship "especially extraordinary", Mr Trump said it was an "incredible day for the world" and that he was "pleased to venture over the line" between the Koreas. He later said he had welcomed Mr Kim to visit the US.
